Baby Tanner was such a cutie! I had a great time taking his pictures... even though I did get peed on... yes that's right! All in the sake of a great pic... He let us do some fun shots, he was a trooper!

I got the idea off another photographer, which now I feel bad because I can't even give credit to them.

Now I just have to figure out if I want to put anything above it, like vinyl lettering. Any ideas?

If you want to make something like this, here is how. Collect your pictures. And then go to this link and download the polaroid zip file. http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/freedownloads/ht/polaroidframe.htm

Open it up in photoshop. The trick is, is to unlock your bottom layer {there is actually a symbol on the right hand corner that looks like a lock} If you double click it, it unlocks it, so now you can make your picture be the bottom layer. Good luck, and let me know if you have any questions!

I am a super blog hopper. I love checking out people's blog, and then their favorite blogs. Today my kids were in their rooms playing. Chloe was suppose to be taking a nap. I should have been editing pictures. Instead I was blog hopping {for seriously like an 1 1/2, it went by fast too}. My little Emma is 6 today. I can't believe 6 years ago I held my first child, and realized the miracle of a tiny baby, and how much love a person can have. I still cry when I think about all the emotions I felt for this little girl. She has been such a joy in our lives. She is are sweet heart. The best big sister. She is so kind and loving to everyone. We love her so much and are grateful for her in our lives. Happy birthday kiddo!!

I'm back. After a much needed break I am finally back and going. If you have followed my blog you know that my little Chloe doesn't like her picture taken, so it has been a while. She was in a good mood, so I decided to take a few of her. She was so good! I was so excited. Here are a few.

We did family pictures. A little difficult when you have to use a tripod. Then when i put myself in it, I couldn't fix the pose or anything. It was frustrating to say the least. I was not only stressed cause I was getting pictures done, but trying to take goo pictures. But thankfully my mother in law came and snapped them for me. Let me just say I think my family was the hardest clients ever. They were a little whinny about poses I was making them do. Thanks to all my other clients who don't complain :-) But don't worry family, I still love you!

{Photoshop Class}

Lately I have had a lot of interest in a photoshop class. So I am trying to see if we get enough people. The class will be held 2 different nights of the week, totaling 6 hours, for $100. Please email me or leave a comment if you are interested in this class. {And if you want a photoshop 1 class or photoshop 2 class} My husband and I will teach the class together {with him mostly teaching and me putting in my two cents} If I can get 5 people interested then I will set up a time and date that will work for everyone. {It might be in January when things settle down a bit}

I had such a proud moment at Thanksgiving. I pulled out my camera and Chloe my 19 month old posed. I couldn't believe it, I was in shock. She just keep doing different little poses with her arms, staring straight into the camera. It was so cute! I was such a proud mom!

For Thanksgiving my Aunt and Uncle were down.

We got some cute photos of the 3 of them-my cousin Scott is on his mission, so sadly he couldn't be there too. {well not sad, but you know what I mean)

{Oh and Amy's boyfriend jumped in a coupld too} and I even one of my Aunt and Uncle. It is too funny!! It was so fun spending time with you guys! Hopefully it won't be another year.

Baby Saddie

This is our friends cute baby! My husband works with her husband. She was the cute pregnant lady I did a few months ago. Although Saddie did not want to sleep. We tried everything. {even the pictures that look like she is sleeping she isn't we just got her to close her eyes for a moment} Even though she didn't want to sleep for us -- She still is so cute and just let me take her pictures- She didn't really cry just wanted to watch what we were doing.

** Anyone thinking about having Newborn pictures done. Remember the best time to take pictures is the first week, even at 10-14 days they will not sleep as much and you won't get the snuggly cute posed pictures that you might want.

They grow up way too fast!

The best thing about photography, is capturing that moment. My memory lately has gone down hill. I normally can't remember things that happened years ago. Like when I get together with my college roommates, I really don't remember the things they say we use to do.... But lately I can't even remember what I did yesterday. I think it is from having 3 kids. Pregnancy just kills ya. Anyways, the whole point is that I love photography because it can help me remember that moment, and it brings those memories back. Time is just flying by and I want to be able to remember the simple things. This is my oldest Emma. .. She is definitely growing up way to fast!

{Family Pictures}

So we went to do family pictures, well more like a group shot of my kids. As most of you can probably guess. Getting pictures of your own kids is HARD! That is why you hire a photographer, right? We were hiking down mountains, using as much bribery as possible, snacks in between shots, and still I only got a couple that I like a little... Chloe my youngest, she is 18 months, and that is a hard age to take pictures of in a group, when there is no one old enough to really hold on to her... So here they are. The colors are beautiful, and well I admit, the main reason I wanted to do them, was for a good excuse to buy these cute clothes at Target. They really do have some cute stuff for kids. I also love Jcrew, and Gap, {especially for ideas} but they are a little pricer, and I don't live buy one, so my kids can't try on the stuff. Okay it is late, and I am just blabbering.... Here they are-I just love FALL!

So I can finally post these, I have been so excited. I did her wedding yesterday in Salt Lake.

There were so many that were my favorite that I had a hard time narrowing them down,

so there are quite a bit. I hope you like them as much as I do.

{Emma goes to Kindergarten}

So I just dropped my oldest off at Kindergarten. I thought I was okay with it, even excited,

I would only have 2 at home (and then my one starts preschool - 3 days a week,

so I would only have 1) and then Emma (the oldest) starts to cry and says

"Mom, I want to go to school, but I am going to miss you so much." So that was it, all the sudden I was sad!! And to make matter worse my 3 year old keeps saying, "Mom!!

When is Emma coming home, I miss her" She has now said that about 30 times, and today is a short day.

Anyways, Emma is a good girl, and I know she will do awesome at school and make lots of friends, but it is still hard

(I am sure next year will even be harder)....

contest a few months back.

I had so much fun with that contest, that I will definitely do it again.

My biggest most exciting news. I finally got a brand new camera. I have a Nikon D700. I love, love, love it. It has so many cool things. I am still trying to figure it out.

Probably the only thing negative is it is about 5 times heavier than my D40,

but maybe I will get some muscles.

I took these a while ago, I just haven't had time to post them. I loved doing this shoot. All the kids were so cute! And such good little models....There will definitely be more to come!

These kids were so great at taking pictures. They were even funny! The little boy in between would make funny noises and faces, and then would smile for the camera. It made everyone laugh, including me! I might have to bring him to other session so I get some real smiles.

You might see these pictures around town, the dad, Bill Hudson, is running for councilmen. Good luck!! Everyone don't forget to vote!

What a fun family!! 3 boys, I always wonder how different it would be if I had boys instead of girls. I hear boys are wild! These boys weren't, they were so good, and I really enjoyed taking your pictures.

It was so beautiful and so precious that it could be passed down through the generations.

I am glad that Grandma could come and get a picture with the dress that she wore.

I was up in Salt Lake this weekend and got to take some pictures

of the cutest soon to be bride at the Salt Flats.

The pictures turned out gorgeous, but sadly I can not post any of them since

she doesn't want her fiance taking a peek at her dress.... Sorry Cody!!

The Wedding is less than a month away so I will post them after--so stay tuned!

They are probably my most favorite pictures so far (can I say that?)

I love, love, love Newborn sessions. It is so fun to pose these little ones, and try to get cool shots. I love hearing the delivery stories, I get a little baby hungry, but then reality hits me, and I know I am not ready for #4. So it is definitely fun to get to hold them and I always want to just snuggle them! But don't worry I do refrain! Here are a few of the last newborn session I did.

{My Vaca to Costa Rica}

So I just got back from my 10 day trip to Costa Rica. It was sooo much fun!! We saw so many different animals, (36 crocs in one lump, it was crazy), a volcano erupt outside our hotel window (it was so awesome!!) I touched a monkey (hopefully I don't have a disease now...) We went on the zip lines, rafting in class 4 rapids (that was my favorite), I learned how to surf, we went on ATV... Every day we were soo busy, and by 9:00 I was exhausted and asleep. It was soo much fun, although it is nice to be home, and I missed my kids a lot!

What a darling family! The husband of this adorable family loves golfing, it was perfect, he set up this awesome session at a golf course it was a beautiful location. The kids were so good, and I had a really nice time. Thanks! Only 2 more sessions to edit and post.

After a nice long vacation I am back!!

We had so much fun in Costa Rica, but 10 days is way too long to be away from my kids.

This was a pre-wedding session, taken the week before the wedding.

This couple brought so much fun and personality to this session, including his love of ultimate frisbee and they matching sandal tan lines.

Isn't this just the cutest little fellow. He already has a personality. He keep showing his little peepers (his eyes if you don't know), and his little foot was always flexed. It was just too cute! I love doing newborn sessions, they are so fun to do and to be able to be creative. I hope you love them!!

Not much of a sneak peek, I know, it will be a busy next few weeks. We are going to pick up my brother from the airport, on thursday, I haven't seen him for 2 years, so I am soooo excited. Then we are off for Costa Rica. I am so excited, words can't describe how excited I am! I have 5 sessions in between now and our trip and so I will be super busy!!

This couple was so cute, they were my first engagement couple I did a while ago, and now the first wedding, so I am grateful for their trust in me. I will post some more really soon!
